What Else?

Well we took Brylee to the doctor the other day for her 9 month check up. She Is 14 lbs 8 oz, still in the 2ND percentile. She is 25 1/2 inches long she use to be in the 10Th percentile for her height but has now dropped down to the third. they think there could be something wrong with her kidneys and that could be stunting her growth but they don't know for sure. Hopefully she just is short and nothing is wrong. She also has failed her development test for the speech area. So we have to have her evaluated to see if we have to put her in speech therapy. Who knows make be she just likes things quite like her mom.
I also have been having problems with my sinuses I went to a doctor and he referred me to a specialist. it turns out I Probably have polyps and will have to have surgery right after I have my baby. Then Evey several years will have to have the surgery repeated when they grow back. Along with that I'm not sure what they called It but everybody has these things in there nose they are made out of the same tissue that the uterus is made out of and in some women when they get pregnant when there uterus starts to thicken so does the tissue in your nose well I'm one of those women. Just my luck!

I am so curious to see if they end up finding anything wrong. I wouldn't worry too much. I got Allisen's growth chart out and she was 15 lbs 1 ounce at 9 months so not much different. She was a little taller. I think some doctors like to worry you because Lyndsey fell off the chart I think around a year and her normal doc was like no big deal and I took or to another because she had an ear infection and she was freaking out. Some people just have small kids :). Keep me posted on everything and I hope you get feeling better!

Both Tarrin and Trey were really little. Tarrin was only 18lbs at a year old. I quess the both were tall but I'm with Tiff. I wouldn't worry too much. But it is best to be safe and rule out anything else. My advice see someone at Primary Childrens if your concerned. I'm sorry about your sinus problem. It's hard enough being pregnant without added things to make you uncomfortable. Hang in there. I was always worried about Trey and his speech since he never seemed to talk but now I can't keep him quiet.

I am so sorry that you are having a stressful time! I love you both so much. Please try not to worry to much! I know that is easier said than done, but don't forget that you have a lot of people around you that are here to help you when ever you need it! I also think that every child likes to do things when they are good and ready! But I also think it is good to rule out any possible problems, so hang in there and don't forget to ask for a blessing if you feel you need one! Love ya

No experience on the growth thing but I can tell you that I had a FEW people worry when ashton wouldn't babble. The kid just didn't want to talk but ended up being fine. I think he finally uttered a couple words when he was around three. I am with Heather. Primary children's is the best but try to stay open minded and know that every child is different. I hope all goes well. Please let us all know if you need anything. We love you.
